Thessaloniki is blessed to have some of the most important bird areas of eastern Europe only a few minutes drive from its city center. Kalochori lagoon and the huge delta area formed by river of Gallikos, Axios, Loudias, Aliakmonas (G.A.L.A), consist the best birding and wildlife watching area so close to a metropolitan area. A day in the GALA delta is simply outstanding!

We organize private, tailor made birding, bird photography and wildlife tours around Thessaloniki, for 2-4 persons. Best season is spring (April to mid June) and autumn (mid August to October), while winter (January-February) has its highlights too.
For groups up to 6 persons, special conditions apply, since we suggest the group to be already formed by our visitors (we prefer do not combine separate birders together in the same trip).
