Enjoy a 14 day birdwatching experience at one of the most unspoiled birding areas of Europe: the northern part of Greece. From the unbeatable Lake Kerkini to Dadia Forest (Europe's richest raptors area), this trip covers the most important natural reserves of southeastern Europe. We have included most Ramsar protected areas, like Porto Lagos, Lake Vistonida, Gallikos & Axios Delta, Evros Delta combined with untouched mountains, such as Mt Pageo, home of stunning alpine avifaune. Lake Ismarida is another hidden gem that we will explore, an area often overlooked by most birding tour operators. This is a lifetime birdwatching and bird photography experience!

The birding should be exceptional, and we expect encounters with a range of wonderful birds including Ferruginous Duck, Eurasian Thick-knee, Spur-winged Lapwing, Black and White storks, Pygmy Cormorant, Great White and Dalmatian pelicans, Purple Heron, European Bee-eater, European Roller, Syrian and Black woodpeckers, Eurasian Golden Oriole, Red-backed and Masked shrikes, Sombre Tit, Eurasian Penduline-Tit, Calandra Lark, Bearded Reedling, Olive-tree Warbler, Eastern Orphean Warbler, and Isabelline Wheatear among many others.
Overall, we expect a birding list of more than 200 species!
