Kastoria is a very beautiful town in the region of Western Macedonia, in NW Greece. The adjacent lake holds large numbers of Pygmy Cormorants, Dalmatian Pelicans and lots of waterfowl in the winter, while the surrounding areas are very rich in birds and large mammals, including wolves and bears.
