Migration is still running, and the small wetland of Vravrona welcomed several new arrivals.
The Temmink's Stint was the most interesting, as this was the first record for the site; a bird was resting at a small flooded patch of farmland, along with Wood Sandpipers, Yellow-wagtails and a single Glossy Ibis. Close to it, two Purple Herons flew towards the reedbeds of the wetland, while the calls of the breeding Great Spotted Cuckoo were heard from the wooded hill lying west.

Other birds seen were several Spotted and Pied Flycatchers, Whinchats, Redstarts and Common Whitethroats. Red-rumped and Barn Swallows are building or repairing their nests while a few Bee-eaters were heard calling while flying at high altitude.
