A second(!) Yellow-browed Warbler Phylloscopus inornatus was seen in Athens, at the hill of Lycabettus, one day after the sighting at Vravrona wetland. This is a different bird, because at the same time birders were at Vravrona, taking photos of the other bird!
Both birds are moving around a c.20 meters radius but it is amazing how easily they can escape detection and appear whenever and wherever they want to...
Its crest-like behavior doesn't help at all to take a decent photo... |
