After the Black-winged Stilt, another summer visitor stayed for the winter in Attica! A Whinchat was seen at the fields close to Vravrona Wetland, feeding on insects. The bird was in a pretty good condition, flying from one bush to another, seeking its food in the ground. This year. the winter is very mild so far, and there's good chance that many other migrants could be still hanging around. And why shouldn't they?
