Evros Delta is one of the best sites for wintering birds, especially wildfowl. It hosts the largest numbers of Geese in Greece, as well as many other interesting species, including rarities like Little Bustard that was sighted a few days ago. It is also a very good place for photographers, especially those seeking good close-ups of birds like this Spoonbill that was feeding a few metres away.
