Eiders Somateria molissima - Πουπουλόπαπια, are very rare visitors in Greece, therefore seeing one is a very exceptional experience. This immature seems to be very fond of publicity, as it has become an attraction of Gallikos estuary near Thessaloniki. Not at all shy, it actually "watches" all humans visiting the area. It seems that it will overwinter there, feeding on the numerous molluscs of the area.
