Ringing Plover
October 28, 2010
Ringed Plovers are always hard to tell from Little Ringed Plovers, as the observation distances are usually large, and they're usually found among many other different waders. Juvenile birds are 10 times more difficult to tell, as they lack the characteristic yellow bill. This one, however, was so close that you could clearly see the differences.
