September is probably the best month to see Honey Buzzards in Greece. Not only they can be found everywhere, they're also one of the most numerous migrant raptors. They're usually seen flying high, making non-stop crossovers. This one, however, was a great exception. It was first seen flying very low in Marsh Harrier style. After making a few circles to gain height it disappeared. If only I had the sun in my back.....September 2010, Evros Delta.
