Glossy migrant in a grey landscape

This could have been a typical photo of a migrating Glossy Ibis, but it isn't. This bird was seen last April resting and feeding on a small stream in the heart of Athens. Cars and people were passing by but nobody was actually paying any attention. The bird spent a few days and then departed as quietly as it arrived.
