Stone Curlews (Burhinus oedicnemus) - Πετροτουρλίδα are quite widespread and locally common summer visitors in the mainland and some of the larger Greek islands. In certain areas, like Mesolonghi lagoons or Axios Delta they can be very common, especially during migration. They're one of those species that it's a real pleasure watching them!
