Restricted to just three islands of Greece (Lesvos, Chios and Skyros, all located in the Aegean Sea), the Cinereous Bunting (Emberiza cineracea) - Σμυρνοτσίχλονο is definitely one of the most wanted species for Greek and foreign birdwatchers. An inhabitant of bare, rocky areas, in the island of Lesvos can be seen in remarkable densities. This male was found near Agras village in the western part of the island.
