Rock Partridges (Alectoris graeca) - Πετροπέρδικα are still widespread in mainland Greece, however being a favorite quarry has made them very shy, keeping a safe distance from man. Fortunately there are a few Wildlife Reserves where they can be still seen in close distance, like this one found in the island of Evoia.
