Fighting for survival

Spring is the breeding time for most birds. They need to defend their nest with all their efforts. At Porto Lagos, I had the chance to see an intraspecific fight between a Common Tern and a Little Egret, which was sitting close to the tern's nest. Enjoy the following pics:
