Late spring arrivals

It's worth visiting the fields around the eastern part of Athens. Places like Vravrona Estuary and Spata area, host some of the most beautiful spring migrants, such as the Black-headed Bunting (Emberiza melanocephala), Short-toed Lark (Calandrella brachydactyla), Nightingale (Luscinia megalorynchos), Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur) and Red-footed Falcons (Falco vespertinus)
