Red-breasted Geese (Branta ruficolis) - Κοκκινόχηνα, have become regular winter visitors in Evros Delta. However, their numbers every year fluctuate markedly. They can be seen in hundreds or single birds. This year more than 250 birds visited the area and I had the chance to enjoy them!
