There is a flock of Grey Partridges that lives in a totally "inappropriate" habitat; the city of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. They can be found in the most bizarre (for a partridge) places: next to basketball courts, block of flats, they can be even seen crossing the road! One can only admire their will to survive in such a "hostile" environment.....
(The birds were not released by hunters or environmental groups, they are relicts of a wild population once found in high densities in the plains of Macedonia that are rapidbly being turned into built areas....)
