After Spyros had told me that some fellow birdwatchers had seen a Sacred Ibis (Threskiornis aethiopicus) in Schinias, I went to see myself this morning: It's actually a pair, and they were not too shy, so I could take a few photos. Most probably they belong to a population that had been introduced in southern Europe in the 1970's.
