An often overlooked mountain among greek birders, Pendeli Mt can provide some interesting species. Especially near Agios Petros, yesterday I saw more than 10 Cretzschmar's Buntings as well as 4 Rueppell's Warblers. Especially the Buntings seems rather curious and come very close to any observer (it happened also last year), which gives opportunity for close up pics. The roads are slighlty over the shrubes, so you can have perfect views of the birds, without disturbing them. A few Subalpine Warblers were seen too, and Chukar was heard
