Rarities in Cyprus

Cyprus is located in the eastern south corner of the Mediterranean sea. A week of birding can be full of surprises as the country provides shelter for birds during their migration to Europe or Asia. Birdlife Cyprus publishes their annual and monthly lists in this page. Last year, a first Bateleur Eagle was seen for the first time in Europe!
